[FreeRTOS Home] [Live FreeRTOS Forum] [FAQ] [Archive Top] [December 2006 Threads] Get task statePosted by saiberion on December 6, 2006 Hi,
is it somehow possible to find out the state of a Task with a function call like vGetTaskState(xTaskHandle) or how can I find out if (in my case) a task is suspended.
RE: Get task statePosted by Nobody/Anonymous on December 6, 2006 In tasks.c
portBASE_TYPE xIsTaskSuspended( xTaskHandle xTask ) { portBASE_TYPE xReturn;
portENTER_CRITICAL(); xReturn = listIS_CONTAINED_WITHIN( &xSuspendedTaskList, &(xTask->xGenericListItem ) ); portEXIT_CRITICAL();
return xReturn; }
RE: Get task statePosted by saiberion on December 6, 2006 Thanks but this function seems to be implemented in xTaskResume(xTaskResumeFromISR in 4.1.3 But unfortunately the whole system hangs up if it tries to wake while it is ready.
RE: Get task statePosted by Richard on December 6, 2006 I don't understand your reply here. The poster has provided the code to do what you require, but the code does not already exist, you have to add it to the tasks.c file.
Regards.
