Ride7 problem with FreeRTOS

Posted by Bob Schilken on February 18, 2010
Does anyone know if the Ride7 Library problem is now solved? - - According to the website today: "Using RIDE version 7: FreeRTOS.org V5.1.1 will not build with the latest versions of the RIDE libraries. The head revision in the FreeRTOS.org SVN repository has already been fixed - the necessary changes will be included in the next release. "

Versions later than V5.1.1 should be fixed - unless the Ride libraries have again been updated in a non backward compatible way. Search for Ride in the following file http://www.freertos.org/History.txt

The WEB page has not been updated because there are various versions of the demo floating around the WEB that use various different versions of FreeRTOS and some people may want to upgrade to the latest version. Although the page wording should definitely be changed.

Regards.
