Update of Xilinx PowerPC (PPC405) Port

Posted by CHUAN on April 6, 2012
Hi

The demo "Xilinx PowerPC (PPC405) Port" uses functions in "Xilinx Board Support Package" (BSP) as part of its portable ports.
However, some functions are not referenced in the BSP, resulting in the failure in linking.
e.g. XIntc_mGetIntrStatus (seems to be interrupt funciton in BSP)
I guess, the BSP is updated therefore not compitable with the FreeRTOS now
So, which EDK version is FreeRTOS using in this demo?
Any solutions?

Thanks in advance
Sean

I can't remember, but I think it was version 6 or 9, not that that helps you much. Both Xilinx PowerPC ports are not going to be updated again, as Xilinx are not updating their PPC products. The Xilinx MicroBlaze port and demo have both recently been updated to the latest (13?) ISE version, and there is a new Xilinx Zynq port as these are the two Xilinx lines being actively developed.

Regards.
