I haven't been able to program in Atmel Studio due to error with "vTaskIncrementTick" and vApplicationStackOverflowHookdefinitions, "no such files" and so on. Please someone could take to or give me a "hello world" program using Freertos for scheduling in a STK600-ATMEGA2560 board with Atmel Studio 6 and ASF 3.11? I feel kind of silly for not being able to do this or finding a good tutorial for this.
Thanks a lot!

Please post the output generated by the compiler when you do a clean build so we can see which files you have included.
If you are using a new (ish) version of FreeRTOS then vTaskIncrementTick() has been replaced by xTaskIncrementTick() - so that could be one problem.
If you have configCHECKFORSTACK_OVERFLOW set to a non-zero value in FreeRTOSConfig.h then you will have to provide a function called vApplicationStackOverflowHook(), which will then be called by the RTOS when a stack overflow is detected.
