I'm not sure what you mean by GUI based RTOS - WinCE?
FreeRTOS does not have a GUI. If you are referring to a development tool with a GUI then there are plenty - take a look at the port pages on the WEB site. The Keil simulator and Open Watcom ports are good for viewing the RTOS operation from a Windows GUI debugger.
