[FreeRTOS Home] [Live FreeRTOS Forum] [FAQ] [Archive Top] [February 2007 Threads] Slow programming of AT91SAM7X-EKPosted by Angus Og on February 19, 2007 I’m currently running the lwIP_Demo_Rowley_ARM7 demo and am having extremely slow programming speeds using ATMEL’s SAM-ICE.
Erase, verify, and debugging tasks are reasonably fast, but I’m getting a reported programming speed of 500bytes/sec. It takes a very long time (up to 2 minutes) to program the application is this normal? Has anyone else seen any issues like this? When running the Segger command line tests all looks good, but under Rowley I’m getting slow programming. My Target speed is set at 12000, any other configuration options that I should consider?
Thanks, Angus
RE: Slow programming of AT91SAM7X-EKPosted by Nobody/Anonymous on February 19, 2007 Yikes - 2 minutes? I have no experience with SAM-ICE but expect it to take no longer than a couple of seconds with a CrossConnect. Might be a worthwhile investment.
RE: Slow programming of AT91SAM7X-EKPosted by Nobody/Anonymous on February 19, 2007 Ok thats an exaggeration. I should say few seconds, not a couple of seconds.
