IAR workbench 500 and FreeRtos

Posted by avi asaf on February 16, 2009
hello

I am a new user of the freeRtos OS but already ported the OS to AT91SAMS256.

I am working on the IAR worknench 5.00, but I cant see the tasks, mutexes and queues that are actives in my program.

is there any tool that can show me this information ?

one more question, what is the ORTI RTOS ?

thanks,

Avi

We actually have somebody in the office working on an IAR plug in at the moment.

Regards.

I am also interested in the IAR 5.0/FreeRTOS combination. Presumably there is a way to enter an OSEK ORTI file into the IAR configuration using the IAR GUI. The file structure for an ORTI file is found in http://portal.osek-vdx.org/files/pdf/specs/orti-a-22.pdf

It's not trivial but a few days perhaps to figure out and get such a file to work from scratch. I don't know what ORTI version is compatible with IAR's IDE.
