I just noticed that tasks.c has been updated in trunk:
in tags/4.1.3:
if( ( xNumOfOverflows != pxTimeOut->xOverflowCount ) && ( xTickCount > pxTimeOut->xTimeOnEntering ) )
in trunk has been changed: if( ( xNumOfOverflows != pxTimeOut->xOverflowCount ) && ( xTickCount >= pxTimeOut->xTimeOnEntering ) )
Richard's comment:
Revision: 59 Author: richardbarry Date: 12:10:04 AM, Friday, January 12, 2007 Message: Bug fix in xTaskCheckForTimeOut() in the case where the tick count has incremented by exactly portMAX_DELAY ticks between two calls (i.e. extremely unlikely). ---- Modified : /trunk/Source/tasks.c
I have an SVN question - is what's in 'trunk' always the latest with SVN? I suppose you have to make a new tag for code updates to be reflected in tags?
TIA, John W.
RE: tasks.c updatedPosted by Richard on January 18, 2007 Hi John,
Yes - trunk is always the 'head revision'. Changes from the last release will be in trunk. The tags directory contains the release baselines.
This change relates to something that was picked up in the SafeRTOS testing program (which is somewhat detailed). The problem it fixes is one of those one in a billion billion occurrences, but a problem none the less.
Regards.
