[FreeRTOS Home] [Live FreeRTOS Forum] [FAQ] [Archive Top] [June 2008 Threads] FreeRTOS directory StructurePosted by Michael James on June 3, 2008 Hi,
I am using FreeRTOS in my latest project and it works very well.
Is it possible under the terms of the license to take out the required files from the directory structure and put them into my project directory structure? It would save me from having to store 16MB of demo files in CVS :-)
I also use PC-Lint to check my code - can I make the required changes to the FreeRTOS code to make it pass Lint? Do I then mail the changes to Richard Barry for inspection/inclusion into the main source trunk?
Regards, Mike.
RE: FreeRTOS directory StructurePosted by Dave on June 3, 2008 Removing unused source files is definitely not a problem. I will leave it up to Richard to answer the other point in case my interpretation is wrong.
RE: FreeRTOS directory StructurePosted by Richard on June 3, 2008 If you just make changes to lint the code, without adding any improvements or enhancements, then personally I don't mind if you send me the changes or not. However, if your changes will end up in a commercial product then I would recommend sending the changes anyway, that way you can remove any doubt as to the license compliance.
Regards.
