I've asked the same thing - TI has their DSP/BIOS - which you pay for whether you like it or not - and it seems to get the job done. That having been said - I would like to do the port - and will if someone will pony-up for the tools from TI/Digital Spectrum. I have recent experience with the 'F2812 - so I feel I could do this as long as I have time - and the tools. If you have a target board that you want it done for - please mention that too.
Just wondering - why would you not use the DSP/BIOS? It's burned into the chip and you pay for it.
