FreeRTOS for RC8 micros

Hi,

I would like to use FreeRTOS for Renesas RC8 micro family. Following are details:

MICRO: RC8 family from Renesas
COMPILER: E30 from Renesas

I would like to know the following:
1. Has anyone used it on these micro-controllers?
2. What is approx footprint of RTOS itself?
3. Will I able to schedule some timed - tasks as meeting timing requirement is critical?

You may find some contributed R8C code but there is no official port so I can't help with code size specifics. However see the FAQ for general flash and RAM footprint numbers.
