IAR Assembler for RL78 - replacing ORG and COMMON directives?

Posted by gerlad0 on November 10, 2016

I have searched for a migration guide that describes what to substitute for ORG and COMMON directives since IAR's Assembler rejects them for the FreeRTOS Demo projects for the RL78 processors. Appears that IAR's Migration for ARM Cores provides the answer (independently of the processor type). These directives were obsoleted in the transition from IAR v4.x to v5.x!!

Does anyone have example of how to replace these Directives?
THanks
