I am trying to evaluate RTOSes with graphics library support. Some questions:
Is there a graphics library available which can work with FreeRTOS?
Is it a good idea to use FreeRTOS in a system which has a graphics application running?
Is there any other RTOS that you would recommend for graphics? Our system has around 100KB of Flash to spare. RAM is around 16KB.
thanks and regards Mohit Garg
RE: Graphics Libraries for FreeRTOSPosted by Jokke on October 17, 2006 I am using FreeRTOS together with a comercial graphics library, from Ramtex (http://www.ramtex.dk/). Works fine, was not expensive, and has a beautiful simulator. I develop UI software in GCC (and Eclipse) under windows, run it with the simulator, and it can then be easily moved to target (AT91SAM7S256). I have no exact figures of footprint, but it is much less than the limits you say.

Warm Regards Mohit
